My collections, my story

Art is not just technique or concept; it is identity, a reflection of who you are and what you carry inside. Hello, I am Humberto Rivera, and I want to share with you a brief tour of my five collections. Although each one is different, they are all united by something essential: my passion for exploring and the search to maintain a unique style that defines me as an artist.
I invite you to discover how these pieces tell my story and, perhaps, you will also find something of yourself in them.
EVANESCENTE

Onyx is the origin of everything. When I started this collection, I knew that the white background was going to be essential in this series, I interpreted it as a canvas for my mind, a clean space where ideas could flow without restrictions. The abstract shapes in the center represent spontaneity and the freedom of creativity, and with its characteristic white background that lets the composition breathe. I always leave this collection to the viewers' interpretation, but for me, it has a reading marked by an organic and exquisite naturalness in the shapes, which intertwine in a fluid way, creating unique gradients. These gradients seem to narrate a struggle or a reconciliation. I also interpret it as a sense of movement, almost as if everything were in constant transition or transformation.
This could be interpreted as a metaphor for change, but it also invites the viewer to reflect on their own feelings or inner experiences. It is a dance between the colors, moving as if they had a life of their own, creating this balance and chaos at the same time. It is my way of saying: 'Here I am, and this is what I can create from the essential.'
NOCTURNO
Nocturno was born from my fascination with the night, that space where everything seems deeper, more introspective. In this collection, black is not just a color; it is a universe. It is an infinite background that allows the gold and white details to shine, like constellations in the sky. The central abstract figure is a focal point that invites reflection, the resin giving it a unique, reflective, almost hypnotic texture, as if each work invites you to immerse yourself in a dream. Nocturno is silence, it is mystery, but it is also a reminder that there is always light, even in the darkness.
FRENESÍ
Frenesí is pure energy. As its meaning says, it is that state of agitation, excitement or extreme enthusiasm. This unique compilation of works is a personal and exciting journey through frenesí, where passion, energy and creativity converge in an unbridled dance of shapes, colors, key symbols and concepts. Here I allow myself to break the rules, mix the abstract with the figurative and create a universe in each piece. There is an explosion of colors that does not seek to be contained, but released.
In this collection, I explore how the abstract and the figurative can coexist in a harmonious chaos, as if each brushstroke had its own rhythm. In addition, in this collection, when it is created on commission, I allow myself to know a little about the collector's life, their passions, their family, their lifestyle, among other things that lead me to create a unique universe, and to include hidden elements and symbols that generate a triangle between the painting, the collector and me. Frenzy is life, it is movement, it is a reflection of the intensity with which I live the creative process.
Arquímedes is abstraction in its purest and most elegant form. Here I seek aesthetics, but without neglecting to tell a visual story, using black as a base to highlight the metallic gold and silver tones. These pieces are like constellations: precise, clean, but full of mystery. The name comes from my fascination with geometry and physics, proportion and the idea of finding order even in the most abstract forms. It is a collection that invites contemplation, to stop and let yourself be carried away by the details.
ARQUÍMEDES
HAPPY DRIPPING
Happy Dripping has a special place in my heart because it is directly connected to my beginnings as an artist. Resin was the first material I worked with, and this collection is a tribute to that beginning. Here I intervene pop art icons, such as Mickey Mouse or Kaws, with a unique style: dripping paint that seems to flow spontaneously and continuously. This collection shows a more playful and experimental side of my work, creating it more on the creative side, and paying homage to contemporary art. It is a collection that celebrates fun, creativity and freedom, but also my path, from the first experiment with resin to what I am today. Happy Dripping is my way of saying: never forget where you come from, and what you like to do.
The connection between my collections
Although each collection has its own character, they are all connected. They share a visual language that reflects my fascination with contrasts: light and dark, chaos and order, abstraction and figuration. But, more than that, they share something more personal: they are chapters of my story as an artist. Each one allowed me to explore a part of myself, and together they form a whole, like pieces of a puzzle. Despite their differences, my collections are united by several elements, experimentation in all the collections, showing a great curiosity to experiment with different materials, techniques and styles.
And even though each collection has a different degree of abstraction, they all share an interest in shapes and colors beyond the literal. Like the search for beauty, I consider my works to be visually appealing and convey a sense of aesthetics, whether through harmony, contrast or complexity. By maintaining unique styles in each collection, I am building a complete and coherent body of work.
